What Makes A Movie Interesting? Is It The Same Or Different From What Makes A Book Interesting? How?

    Understanding what's going on in the movie could make the movie interesting. If you are interested in the storyline/plot then you could find yourself liking the movie. I think the same things apply for books. If you don't understand what's going on in the book and just look at the words, you will most likely not like the book. If the beginning of the book captivates you enough to make you want to read more, or if the storyline also captivates you, then you would be interested.
